About Me

I've been an elementary school teacher for 10 years, and this year I am changing from elementary school to become a 6th grade math teacher! I am really excited for this new adventure, and what better way to take the journey than to bring you all with me!

I've always wanted to share my ideas and get ideas from others through a blog.  I hope that I can share things that I do, and hopefully what I share can help you, too. :)

I am originally from Michigan where I taught for four years.  I now live in North Carolina, and love the warm climate!! :)  I am married and have a little baby son at home who is our miracle baby!  He was born at 25 weeks weighing 1 pound 9 ounces!  He is now a VERY energetic one year old!  You would never know that he was a micropreemie!
