July Currently

Well, I haven't been to currently with my Currently's with Farley from Oh Boy, 4th Grade, so I suppose summer time is as good of time as any to get back in the game, right? :)

Listening: Well, since I am working on my Currently everyone else around me is watching "Big Bang Theory", so that is in the background. :)

Loving:  I'm sure my loving is the SAME as everyone elses---who does NOT love summer (I guess unless you're in the Southern Hemisphere?).

Thinking:  Back to School!  I know---sad, but when I spend my day relaxing on Instagram and seeing everyone's Target Dollar Spot photos, I can't help but get a little excited.

Wanting:  So, every summer I spend a majority of it in Michigan visiting my family and my husbands family.  I swear the time just FLIES by which STINKS.  Blah.

Needing:  A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP!!!!  When you're traveling all summer with a two year old--that makes it TOUGH especially when they are throwing tantrums at night.  I'm actually surprised we didn't get kicked out of the hotel we stayed at on the way to Michigan.  We have now become THOSE people.  Right now we have been sharing a room with our son for the past week and a half, and he has woken up almost

every

single

night.

So, any mommies or daddies out there that have tried and true tips, please leave them in the comments! :) I'd love to hear 'em!

My All Star: I would have to say determination.  I am definitely the kind of person that once I set my mind to it, I do it.  Such as run a marathon, TPT, etc.

Well, I'm off to read what y'all are up to! :)

November Currently

Wow-it's soooooo crazy to think that it is November already!!!!  Time to link up with Farley for Currently!

Listening:
Well, I remember the days when the time change meant sleeping in an extra hour...not so much anymore.  Baby B is an early riser, but with the time change early riser now meant before 4:30!!!!  So, we have been snuggling and watching cartoons most of the morning. :)

Loving:
This cooler weather in Eastern NC!  Last night it was sooooo windy and cool!  It was FANTASTIC!

Thinking:
Again, see Listening. :)

Wanting:
My hubby is now up too, and making breakfast....it smells DELICIOUS! :)

Needing:
Yesterday I started putting Thanksgiving decorations up.  I went out yesterday to Target and got these SUPER CUTE light up birch trees!!!!  They are in the Christmas section, but they fit PERFECTLY on the mantle for my woodland Thanksgiving theme! :)  I posted a picture of them on Instagram today (@immixingitupinmiddle)

Reading:
Is it bad that it's nothing?  I know I am a teacher, but reading is just not something I do for enjoyment.  I feel as though my life is so incredibly busy, and there are other things that I would like to do to relax.

I can't wait to see what everyone else is up to!

Currently with a TREAT :)

Well, I am a little late to the party---again. :)  At least it is still October, right?? :)  Time to link up with Farley over at Oh Boy! 4th Grade for her Currently series.

 Listening

Right now I am listening to the Today Show while I watch little B play and eat Cheerios. :)  It's my normal weekend routine while I drink my coffee.

Loving
The fact that we are getting fall weather!!!  I'm originally from Northern Michigan, so I've been giggling at the news lately when they say it's fall like weather (in Eastern NC) and "you might need a jacket because it's going to be in the low 70's.  However, tomorrow it's mid 60's!!!!!!!  Hooray!!!!

Thinking
Hubby is going golfing today, so that means I get to spend the day playing with baby B and CREATING!  It's amazing how relaxing that really is! :)

Wanting
Ugh-Salted Caramel Frappucinos are my FAVORITE and I have YET to get one.  I need to do that. :)

Needing
We need to finish the Halloween decorating process.  I thought that we would be done by now, but we kind of have been struggling with where to put things since B is ALL OVER THE PLACE.

Treat
Here is your Halloween Treat!!! :)  It's a Coordinate Grid Graph Art for older students.  They need to know how to reflect points over the y-axis to do this, OR you can reflect the points for them if they haven't learned it yet. :)  My students love doing these, and it will be a great addition to your fall teaching resource line up. :)  Just click the picture below to download it!

Currently in June (my FIRST ONE!)

Well, since I am joining the world of blogging, I might as well get with the party.  My first Currently linky!  I see that I am behind the bandwagon on this since it is already June 8th, but better late than never I suppose. :)

Here it is:

*My listening is both my hubby and I doing what relaxes us:  he does home improvement stuff, and I play on the computer. :)

*I love the weather outside today!  I am about to take Baby B outside after I finish this post and let him play in his pool!

*I am super excited to finally be "linking up" and joining the blogging world!  I was on top of the classroom website movement, then fell off the bandwagon, but am ready to hop back on!

*That being said, I am really wanting to get this blog up and running over the summer to be ready to go all out once school starts.  It's overwhelming all of the choices, banners, buttons, etc.!
I am in the process of searching for what I want to use permanently.  So many choices!!

* I do need to get away from this computer, though---it's BEAUTIFUL OUT!  This is quite the addiction though!  It's hard to walk away when it's not "perfect" yet!

*My summer bucket list!   YAY!  This is really important to me this year, since last year I had a  CRAZY summer!  Our little baby (micropreemie!) was born at 25 weeks May 10th...1 pound 9 ounces!  So, last summer my only bucket list was for him to be healthy and to come HOME!  We spent the whole summer logging miles going to and from the NICU (98 days), but little baby B is home and doing WONDERFULLY!  It's hard to believe he is already ONE!  SO...this summer my bucket list can be a little more laid back and fun. :)  My hubby and I are both from Michigan, so every summer except the last one we spend about a month in Michigan.  He's from lower Michigan, and I'm from a little town called Cheboygan in the top of the Lower Peninsula.  So family and baby B snuggles are at the TOP of my list! :)  Then, when I have some down time I plan to create more on this site, link up, and begin to create some things for teaching 6th grade MATH (and possibly science) next year.

I plan to follow Farley's rule of 3 and post on the two previous currently's and then on the one after me.  Hopefully I will get to know some of the teacher-bloggers out there, and you all can get to know me!

Have a great Sunday!!!!
